I've known the story of "A Christmas Carol" from seeing some of the movies, but I have never read the book until recently. The book is definitely better than the movies. This book is heartbreaking in the best way possible. It is one of the most beautifully written books I have ever read, I found the writing poetic. I loved everything about the story and seeing Scrooge recognize that he needed to change. I will definitely be reading this book again, it has become one of my favorite Christmas books!!
