It was a dark night of the soul for Angel, the night she appeared like his namesake. He would have liked to have known her, but she was gone the next morning. Now, more than a year later, he was doing much better, continuing his work in Indigo City's streets as a paramedic, responding to medical emergencies.

Claire could never forget the medic whose life she saved just by being in the right place at the right time. Still, it wasn't enough to rescue her from her own dark night of the soul and unlike him, she followed through.

Fate had other ideas for the both of them and for whatever reason, their paths crossed again at exactly the right moment. Both of them were now determined to not let this second chance pass them by, not like the first...

this maybe my favorite out of the series. while it doesn’t have a crime lord for a villain it does deal with an issue which is misunderstood by the general public, does it with class, and without the stigma. there is even a SHMC reference to I believe Data & Mali!!! I love Claire’s profession, a gym here just started teaching those flying classes! I like that her character has been bent to the point of breaking but doesn’t. I cannot say more without spoiling the book, but i recommend you buy it, savor the story & fall for Angel and Claire

This novel is an interesting read, this is a new author to me, so I wasn’t sure what to really expect, but the quality of the writing is very good. The plot seems to be very well thought out and designed so it’s easy to follow along and never gets boring, holding my attention throughout the book. By making it so the characters have some flaws and emotional distress the author makes so that they are easier to relate to and more believable. The dialogue between the characters, both main and sub characters is interesting and believable. It’s a stand alone novel and has a HEA, but the main characters have to work hard to get to that ending. A great read.
