~*~ Hannah fell for Jacob the first time they met. His bossy brother Michael keeps getting in the way. Losing isn't an option in her bid to win the cowboy of her dreams. ~*~
For Hannah Kincaid, it was love at first sight when she met Jacob Hollingsworth, the handsome co-owner of Serendipity’s new (and only) dude ranch. When she lost her job at the Standish family’s Christmas Tree Farm, Jacob’s sisters hired her at the Rocking H. Sure, she’s afraid of horses, but she’ll overcome all obstacles to achieve a goal. The unexpected arrival of Jacob’s bossy brother, Michael, turns everything at the Rocking H on its head--including Hannah’s plans.
Michael Hollingsworth was summoned to help his siblings in their fledgling business. He immediately sees a problem: their only employee is incompetent in her work, crazy about Jacob, and...completely enchanting. How can Michael prepare the ranch for the change that’s brewing, when Hannah Kincaid’s big blue eyes and uncompromising determination keep messing with his focus?

Magdalena Scott’s A Cowboy for Christmas We are going to work at the Rocking H Dude Ranch with Hannah Kincaid. This ranch is new in the Serendipity area. Hannah has graduated college and is pursuing a job in environmental management. Until she can find a job in her field, she is working at the ranch especially since she is sweet on Jacob Hollingsworth, one of the co-owners. Only draw back is Hannah is afraid of horses but until the arrival of the fourth co-owner, she has not had to work in the stables. That is about to change with Michael Hollingsworth taking her to muck the stalls. What will Hannah do when Michael disclosures that Jacob is reuniting with his childhood sweetheart? Can Hannah tolerate working for Michael? Well plotted story with unexpected twists and turns. The characters were all realistic, colorful, well developed and interesting. The description was so vivid making the reader feel as if they were there on the ranch and in the area. Superbly written story that everyone will enjoy reading anytime of the year even though it is a Christmas tale. I volunteered to read A Cowboy for Christmas. Thanks to the author for the opportunity. My opinion is my own.
