Overview

A CURIOUS CALF
A curious calf wants to know why she always says ‘Moo’. The habit is boring to her. She gets an explanation from her mother and decides she doesn’t want to say ‘Moo’ anymore. Next, she gets advice from a farm cat and then a mouse. In the end a farmer tells her a thing or two about Moo. Guess what the farmer tells the Curious Calf?

About the Author

Most, but not all my children's books are about an animal and a situation it is in.
Almost all children are enchanted by animal stories - whether the creatures are animals that perform like human beings, animals that portray animals but talk and think like human beings, or animals that simply act like themselves whether there are people in the story or not.

These are books for the very young - the two to five year-old range. The narrative is simplistic while allowing room for a child's imagination, emotion and reasoning to evolve.

Having worked as a lifestyle columnist for the Ganette Publishing Company, the Editor of Connecticut Country Life Magazine, a marketing and public relations writer and as an editor of Kalliope: A Journal of Woman's Literature and Art, nothing in the writing arena has provided me as much joy as creating children's picture story books in rhyme.
It's my hope that you enjoy sharing these books with the young children in your life
as much as I enjoy creating them.
