About the Author
Madison Edwards is a Texas-born poet and writer based in Durham, North Carolina. Born in 1995, she primarily writes about her experiences with mental illness, trauma, the loss of religious faith, grief, and rebirthing oneself. Madison is newly-married to her husband, Evan, and currently works as a barista while she finishes her degree in Human Services and Social Work. "A Cynic Caught in the Rain" is her first published work.
