What an awesome story! I loved meeting Shiara and Devron . . . plus a few other characters. JC Morrows does a terrific job showing how the Queen met the King – before he became the King! A Dangerous Love isn’t a continuation of the Order of the MoonStone series; it is actually a prequel to the series. This short story goes back to introduce the Queen, when she was a young girl, and how she met – and married – Devron, the future King of Auralius. I’m certain others have also wondered about Shiara – and what her life was like before she became the Queen. In the previous books, we’ve only seen her as a grieving widow; now we get a look at the young girl… This story is great! Even as a stand-alone, it’s interesting, exciting and enjoyable to read. JC Morrows has done it again! Don’t miss out on this exciting read!

wondered about the love story between the Queen and the late King? JC Morrows has answered your question in A Dangerous Love. I loved finding out how the Queen met her husband, before she was Queen. Before she endeared herself to Kayden. This book was full of romance and mystery. The only problem was it was too short. I could have cheerfully continued reading their story all the way to present day, but alas, I'll have to hope Ms. Morrows continues their story sometime in the future. *I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

A Dangerous Love ( Order of the MoonStone Short stories-#3 ) By: JC Morrows A Dangerous Love is the prequel of the series Order of the MoonStone. I was taken in by the title A Dangerous Love before I read this short story, but the title suits the story perfect. Ms. Morrows had me hooked right from the start. I love the two main characters, Prince Devron and Shiara . This is the story on how Dvarius’s parents met and is a very sweet romance. Prince Devron has an older brother who will become King, so he can go out and pick his own wife , one that he will love. Shiara is a lonely orphaned and still grieving the loss of her parents a year ago. She has two men perusing her , she just don't know about Andrei . What about this stranger that she met, and he keeps popping up everywhere? I was given a copy of this book by the author for my honest review

The Order of the MoonStone series continues with A Dangerous Love, a short story about the meeting of Dvarius’s parents. If you’ve been keeping up with the books and in-between books, you’ll know that a lot has been alluded to about the love of Dvarius’s parents, but we haven’t received the full backstory until now. A compelling stand-alone love story, this is a great addition to the series, and will both satiate the hunger of fans waiting on the third book of the Cinderella-Assassin story and drive us to want even more. J.C. Morrows has created a world that fans want to get lost in, explore, and be part of. I can’t speak for all readers, but this one can’t wait for Book 3 of the MoonStone series to be released. When Dangerous Love was sent to me by the author for review, I was so excited because I find I can trust J.C. Morrows to write compelling stories that I can’t get enough of. If you are looking to invest yourself into a new series, I strongly suggest this dystopian romance. I mean, who doesn’t want to read a Cinderella story with a twist where Cinderella is an assassin not after the Prince’s heart but his life? A copy of this book was provided by the author, J.C. Morrows, for review. This review was first published on MuggleNet.com (http://www.mugglenet.com/2016/02/book...).

When I first saw the title, A Dangerous Love, my first thoughts were, sounds like Romeo & Juliet except a better ending. Also, I loved the cover at first glance, but every cover in this unique series has been really awesome. I could not have been more wrong about comparing this story to Romeo & Juliet, but that’s also a good thing. “There was something about him that had always rubbed her the wrong way. Before her mother’s death, she could remember her saying that he was a nice enough young man, but not the one for her daughter.” Shiara is an orphan who still grieves her parents after a year of their passing, she has no idea what her destiny holds for her and she is not seeking anyone’s attention. In this story, she is being pursued by two men….Devron and Andrei. Andrei is kind of a stalker and determined to be with her, but he also comes across as annoying and pathetic. No matter how many times Shiara rejects him, her parents have since rejected him also, he just won’t leave her be. He’s a nice enough fellow, if only he would get a clue. Devron is minding his business when he crosses paths with Shiara and there’s an instant connection. I honestly didn’t trust him at first either, but he turns out to be a true gentleman. There are other subtle hints at this story that I missed the first time I read it because I was kind of impatient to learn more about Dvarius’s parents and how they fell in love. Well, there’s so much more to this story than their love, there’s also plenty of intrigue and there is danger as the title suggests, but not the way I thought it would be. There’s no violence in this story at all. So I ended up reading it twice and a few lightbulbs went on for me that are crucial to the story. “Why can’t he ever just say what he means? He always talks in such riddles.” I highly recommend you read A Perilous Assignment, A Reluctant Assassin, AND A Treacherous Decision before reading this short story. It will be fine if you choose to read this series out of order, but you won’t understand what’s going on. I’ve read the entire series and I still overlook important details, I’m eager to know so much more and the plot is slowly getting there. However, every short story in this series reveals certain clues that are important to know before reading the longer sequels. I’m having trouble with that because I’d rather the entire story be available at once. Yet I’m learning that there is a purpose to the in between short stories, I can trust the author with the story overall and it will be worthwhile to be patient. Also, there are answers that Morrows provides at the end of this story which help some. I’m only more intrigued to read A Desperate Escape (Book 3) when it’s ready! “The cold edge to his voice sent a shiver down Shiara’s spine. She looked over at Dev, certain he would laugh off Andrei’s accusations, but his expression did nothing to reassure her.” A Dangerous Love is about Dvarius’s parents and how they fall in love, but it’s more than that. Their romance is sweet and happens quickly, but it also leads to other huge revelations in the overall series that the author brilliantly puts carefully together so that the story isn’t over in 300 pages. It takes much longer than that and that’s a good thing because Morrows grabs your attention from the beginning. *I want to thank the author for the review ecopy provided. I was not required to write a positive review. These comments are my honest opinion*
