About the Author

Caroline Warfield has at various times been an army brat, a librarian, a poet, a raiser of children, a nun, a bird watcher, an Internet and Web services manager, a conference speaker, an indexer, a tech writer, a genealogist, and, of course, a romantic. She has sailed through the English channel while it was still mined from WWII, stood on the walls of Troy, searched Scotland for the location of an entirely fictional castle (and found it), climbed the steps to the Parthenon, floated down the Thames from the Tower to Greenwich, shopped in the Ginza, lost herself in the Louvre, gone on a night safari at the Singapore zoo, walked in the Black Forest, and explored the underground cistern of Istanbul. By far the biggest adventure has been life-long marriage to a prince among men. She sits in front of a keyboard at a desk surrounded by windows, looks out at the trees and imagines. Her greatest joy is when one of those imaginings comes to life on the page and in the imagination of her readers.

A gentle, well written story with a bit of mystery. Not the usual regency of balls and London. Refreshing.

the story contains the usual lady, with her are two young brothers, an all farm animal nativity and a good looking, good hearted Nobleman. This story has several unexpected twists to it. Several additional family members have small but important parts to play. I recommend this as a very good short story, looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

A short clean story.

Even tho this is a novella it was an amazing story. I wanted it to last another 400 pages, the characters spoke to me. I could actually imagine myself there. Who can resist a book you actually wanna be in. Any who I highly recommend this book plus all the rest of Mrs. Warfield's books.

A very well written story populated by likeable characters.

Overly dramatic and soap operay. Writing style and character words and thoughts not at all in keeping with the time. Clean, but I'd had such high hopes.

It was a nice quick read. She made you like the lead characters.

Not exactly boring but not remarkable either.

A Dangerous Nativity by Caroline Warfield is a fairly short holiday read, perfect for those with limited time for reading. Ms Warfield has given us a great cast of characters. Will and Catherine's story is loaded with drama, humor and spice. I enjoyed A Dangerous Nativity and look forward to reading more from Caroline Warfield in the future. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

A well written tale of English countryside romance. Wish it had been longer!

A great cast of characters; especially, from that of Catherine (heroine) and Will (hero) to that of Freddy, Randy and Charles. A delightful short HEA story. Approximately 70 or so pages. ****vrnb****
