I was so rooting for Doc and Maggie, their story was so sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. They have feelings for each other but know they're not fated mates so they part ways. While we read about that we also get to see returning characters and get introduced to new characters. I cannot wait until book 4 and hope to see a few specific people get their HEA but I guess we'll see what Madison Granger has in store for us. Whatever it is will definitely be incredible.

The danger, suspense and love never ends at Phoenix Keep. Doc and Maggie have to be several thousand miles apart to discover their problem. I am just loving this series and am anxious for book 4.

I enjoyed the dual couples who found their promised mates. I loved the little twists and turn throughout the story. The characters were likeable and easy to root for. I look forward to the next book!

Funny how they say 'true love is right in front of you'. Doc, Maggie and Alexis find out that that saying is true. Doc and Maggie love each other, but have never scented the "Promised Soul' scent. Alexis has had a crush for a couple of years, but thinks it will go nowhere. Unfortunately someone from Alexis' past shows up. Loved this book. Can't wait for book four.

Overall rating: 5 In every book, other than the main characters, sometimes supporting characters leave impressions as well, no matter how large or how small their roles in the storyline. Book one I wanted my own Marta, no explanation necessary! In book 2 Rhona came into play and her importance was introduced. Now in book 3, I find myself hoping down the road the full stories will emerge for the Beserkers as well as a few others. It’s goes without saying learning more about Doc as well as the resident housekeeper/cook made it severely easy to immerse into book 3. It has really been an amazing journey reading about the Kindred and I am very fortunate to have been introduced to this series! When I review books, I try hard not to reword book blurbs or resummarize the storylines. I lean more towards what about these books kept me reading if at all. I believe I will be rereading these to capture even more details, just like rewatching a great movie, you get more rewatching than you did the first time. Thank you for this adventure!

Book 3 in the Kindred series. We get Doc & Maggie's story. Complicated and heartbreaking to say the least. New characters emerge and we get to see other couples come back in this series and new mates. This isnt the last of the series and although not much in the way of happening in this book I still enjoyed it. This was more concerned with the characters and their mates more than anything. So, not much action like in the other books but I have a feeling its coming. I very much enjoyed. It was sweet.
