A Dragonling's Magical Christmas by S.E. Smith

USA Today Bestseller!
The Valdier, Sarafin, and Curizan Lords had children who just cannot stop getting into trouble! There is nothing as cute or funny as magical, shapeshifting kids, and nothing as heartwarming as family.

When Ariel mentions another human holiday, the women get excited. They aren't the only ones, though. The Dragon Lords and their friends decide they want to be part of the planning this time. Things get a little out of hand when the men begin competing with each other to create the best Christmas ever for the dragonlings, Roam, and Alice. While telling the children tales of St. Nick, Rudolph, Frosty, and the Old Dragon of the Mountain, they try to light up the palace like never before and turn it into the new North Pole.

Just when the women think they have everything under control, panic ignites when the children take it upon themselves to search for the legendary dragon threatening to steal the Magic of Christmas!

Now, their parents are in a race to find the dragonlings before they lose them forever. Will they be able to find them and celebrate the magic of the season or will the Dragon of the Mountain keep them hidden forever?

Internationally acclaimed S.E. Smith presents a new action-packed story full of mischief and adventure. Brimming with her signature humor, vivid landscapes, and beloved characters, this book is sure to be another fan favorite!

I've loved all the stories about the precocious little dragonlings. They and their friends, Roam and Alice, are super-smart, talented, brave and funny. They all love and support each other no matter their differences. This story really sets the stage for their adult future which I'm really looking forward to reading about some day!

Overall Rating: 4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆ Oh my goodness gracious, the Dragonlings are now mischievous toddlers. They set out to befriend and save the old Dragon in the Mountain in S.E. Smith’s, A Dragonlings Magical Chrimstas! It’s a captivating journey with new and old friendship, bonding and strengthening. Everyone is gathering for the first time to celebrate Christmas on Valdir. All the dragon lords, their mates, family and friends are joining in on the fun. The competition between them is comical and heart-warming. The hanging of an excessive number of lights causes the palace power grid to be over-taxed. Poor Trelon is still pulling his hair out (its grown some now after his feisty little twins quit sneezing fire at him)! Paul and Morian are expecting their first child, and even the Goddess stops by for a visit with Phoenix. This is a pleasurable, fun, relaxing read reminding us of the importance of family and friends. It gives a small glimpse at future books that Ms. Smith might write for us too. The budding love between Baliant and Alice and the fortitude of leadership exhibited by Zohran are awe inspiring! Even the hyper twins, Jade and Amber learn a valuable lesson. I truly enjoyed the moments of laughter that I found while reading this short novella. Thank you, S.E. Smith for the fantastic world of the Dragonlings!

Absolutely loved this addition to the Dragon Lords series. This was as usual full of love, laughter and fun. It is funny having the dad try to outdo each other on decorations while the women come up with the stories and activities. Never imagining that the story they told would be taken seriously or that it was actually a true story. The dragonlings and friends set off on an adventure to save Christmas and the abandoned dragon who lives in the mountain. I cannot wait to hear more about him in coming books as his story is sure to continue.
