Lady Ella Fletcher doesn't dare to dream of the handsome and dashing Duke of Sheridan. A man like him is for a woman who has hope, a chance at happiness. Her step mother and step sisters would never allow her to have such a future.
Bradford Seymour is taken with Lady Ella the moment he lays eyes on her but something is amiss. Trapped in a country inn during a storm, he can't help but notice that she is in trouble. The question is, how to help her? Though he has the responsibility of an entire dukedom, what good is that if he can't aid the one person his heart desires?
This Cinderella retelling is a SWEET fairy tale romance.

This is one of the worst books I have ever read. At less than 60 pages, it reads more like a high school student's English writing assignment than a book that you'd want to pay money for. While I do love all of the different ways the Cinderella story can be told and found the twist in this re-telling was creative in concept. This is the nicest thing I can say about the story. With its lack of character development, multiple typographical and grammatical errors (per page), rushed story telling, and potpourri of time period references left me, as the reader, feeling more like an editor or English teacher grading a paper than someone making good use of limited recreational time. I was looking for a light, Hallmark movie-like, Christmas read with a happy ending. Though the title refers to a Christmas Kiss there are only two references to the holiday at the very end of the book, never actually placing the reader into a holiday setting. Save your money and look elsewhere. There are some wonderful books that offer a real escape to a far away world during the holiday season for less than half the price of this one. I'd dare say they were even written by authors above the age of 17.
A sparkling Christmas story that will make you believe in love! It is so enjoyable to see an author take a classic fairy tale and wrap it into a regency romance!! Basically a slave to her stepmother and two stepsisters, Ella tries to just stay out of the way and do as she is told. But when they stop at an Inn on their travels, who turns up but the Bradford, the Duke of Sheridan!! Let the fairy tale begin!! He is trying to reform his ways and take on his responsibilities of his new title. Ella just wants to get away from her step relatives. As the two meet with the enchantment of Christmas, anything can happen! Such an enjoyable read and it left me with a smile and a warm heart. Love this series by Tammy Andresen, although this can be read as a standalone. Trust me, you will not want to miss any of them!! Lori Dykes
