On the run from the Guild of Guardians, Calla Larkenwood and her team of fellow outlaws plan a daring rescue operation into the Seelie Court itself. As if that isn’t enough to keep them busy, the power-hungry Princess Angelica has begun preparations for a horrifying prophesied spell that will forever change both the magic and non-magic realms.

When Calla is blindsided by an unspeakable tragedy before the rescue can be carried out, she struggles to remain focused on her mission. She believes she’s reached her lowest point—until a witch reveals the final blow: she has cursed Calla’s magic. With time running out, can Calla save the one she loves and stop the prophecy from being carried out before the curse claims her life?

This book had me at the edge of my seat on an emotional roller coaster. The entire creepy hollow series is phenomenal!

Another winner from Rachel Morgan! Great characters, great storyline - all of it. I was so looking forward to this sixth installment of the Creepy Hollow series and was not disapppointed in the least! There's still so much to be resolved that I am eagerly anticipating book seven, but I really like how this tale tied up Calla's storyline. This was a fast-moving tale and I really enjoyed experiencing it with Calla and the cast of characters around her. I swooned, I cried, I worried, I got frustrated, excited - everything! I'm already re-reading my favorite parts because I just don't want it to be over yet. :) I highly recommend A Faerie's Curse, as well as the rest of Ms. Morgan's works!

I think the author put it best: A witch’s curse. A world-ending prophecy. A daring rescue mission. Don’t miss the heart-pounding finale to Calla’s story! This book was heart-wrenching. I can't go into details because it would spoil the story, but as a mother, I cried a lot through this book. It was good, but I needed that ending to calm down. Whew! I also wish the author had tied up the Zed end, or gone a little further into (what I suspect) was Ryn's true purpose for being on the guild council, but otherwise it was a good ending, and leaves yet more space for more adventures in Creepy Hollow (although, maybe not the world-ending kind). :)

Good vs evil, lives lost, and love winning out. All combined to make this a great story that I don’t want to see end anytime soon.

Calla Larkenwood's world is ripping apart at the seams in Rachel Morgan's A Faerie's Curse. This novel is the finale to Calla's story, and boy, it is one fast-paced ride! I didn't want to stop reading. The end of Part One had me crying. The end of Part Two left me shocked. I even gasped at what happened in that part. The ending was sweet and touching, but Morgan also left enough questions unanswered for the next part of the Creepy Hollow series, which I'm already excited to read. What I love best about Calla is that no matter what she goes through, she does find a way to remain true to herself. Action, danger, romance, and more—A Faerie's Curse by Rachel Morgan has it all!

The series is absolutely worth reading. It is so creative and vivid. The world Rachel Morgan creates is fantastic and full of adventure. The emotional journey is quite intense and it has unimaginable ups and downs. Romance, hatred, vengeance, forgiveness and betrayal all play a part.
