Following one's dreams I enjoyed this first taste of this series! Titus has pushed his dreams aside to help his family through the years... finally he has decided nothing will stop him from leaving town and joining the police force. Before that happens though... he is called for a search and rescue. I loved seeing Titus and Ocean go along their journey... the depth of the characters... seeing how they grow page after page. A romance that draws you in. You get some hints to what you may see in the coming books. I am really looking forward to seeing what comes next for this family and their town! A HEA that made me smile! *copy given in exchange for an honest review.

Awesome Read! I just finished A Fall From Yesterday: A Heart's of Harkness Romance (The Standish Clan #1), and Norah Wilson has done it again! I'll try to do the novel justice, which won't be an easy feat, without spoilers. I loved everything about it, just like all of her books, including the cover. Even the title is very fitting. The characters are well developed, real life, and true to the way they are written to the very end. The heroin is strong and saucy, and the hero a man of honor, each with their own vulnerabilities and a strong connection to each other. The plot is interesting and flows fluently, and the hot love scenes only add to the story line. I certainly wouldn't mind being stuck on a mountain with Titus the Titan! It's a bittersweet love story, which in my opinion is the best kind. It's refreshing to read a romance that actually has a solid plot and characters that don't just fall into bed in the first few pages. The dialogue was laced with humor, and the descriptions realistic enough to pull the reader in, especially the scenes on the mountain. This book was a very nice introduction to all of the characters, as the beginning of a new series, without taking the focus away from Ocean and Titus. There was a nice balance of information and mystery about the others to interest me in future installments to the series. All in all, I truly loved this book. It's a must read! I can't wait for the next books in the series, Ember's Fire, and then Promise Me the Stars, Scott's story. I received an ARC of this title from the author for an honest review.

A wonderful story and the start of what should be a fantastic series. This story is filled with wonderfully bold characters, adventure, romance and family. Ocean and Titus were wonderful together with terrific chemistry between them. Both determined and headstrong but the longer they spend time together the more understanding they become. A great read I would definitely recommend.

This is the first book that I have read by Norah Wilson and all I can say is that I will be reading more by this author. This book hooked me from the very beginning and I couldn't wait to see what happened between Ocean and Titus. Ocean is just returning home from New York and her writing career and Titus will be leaving soon to do what he has always dreamed of doing. Ocean and Titus face things from their past together and realize that their dreams of the future may not be what they truly want any longer.
