Overview

Luck is on Charlie Morgan's side.

With all the close calls, double crosses, and death defying leaps of faith he has survived over the years, how else could one explain it? Unfortunately, these are inherent dangers in his line of work.

Being a treasure hunter, Charlie has a knack for getting in over his head. Somehow, he always manages to survive unscathed. That is, until his latest escapade.

Charlie finds himself deep in the forests of the northern region of China. He is there to help solve one of China's most ancient mysteries. Legend speaks of a female shaman who harnessed the ability to see the future. The shaman was known by many names, but her most famous name of all was...

Xi Wangmu.

Discovering the tomb is easy, and solving its riddles even more-so. On the other hand, what lies beyond the tomb leads Charlie on the most dangerous adventure he has ever faced.

One that takes him down a road filled with deadly assassins, ancient ruins, elaborate booby-traps, and intricate puzzles.

One that spans many countries and mythologies.

One that can very well lead him to catch up with the one thing he has been dodging all his life.

His fate.
