Like Michelle Branch and Vanessa Carlton before her, Kate Voegele is a powerhouse lyricist. Her songs are all touching, beautiful, and 200% relatable. You can find yourself in every one of these songs. From the accusations of "99 Times" to the pleads of "Who You Are Without Me" to the inspiration of "Lift Me Up" no one can deny that she's got the pipes or the heart for her kind of music. It's a beautiful follow up to her first cd and while most sophmore artists deteriorate on their second disc, Kate proves that you can carry on greatness from one project to the next.

I've followed Kate's music since she guest starred on "One Tree Hill" as Mia. At first she came out with softer songs like "No Good" and "Kindly Unspoken". Recently she dropped this hot album "A Fine Mess" with beautiful songs like "Sweet Silver Lining" and "99 Times". She's even shot a video of how to play "99 Times" on the guitar. The songs on this album are beautiful and once you hear her voice you won't be able to resist her music.
