Overview

A sweet contemporary friends-to-lovers romance novella with a strong dose of second chance at love and a sweet HEA. No cliffhangers. (Heat Level: 2 flames.)

Synopsis:

Josette Miller and Walker Anderson grew up together in small-town, Dade City, Florida. Inseparable during their youth, Josette dreamed of growing up and moving away. When she left ten years ago, Josette didn't know how Walker really felt about her.

But Dade City just wasn't the same with Josette, and Walker left shortly after, regretting he'd never told Josette how he felt. In a twist of fate, Josette and Walker find themselves moving home within months of each other. They aren't kids, anymore, and the attraction this time around is mutual. Maybe a "Fresh Restart" is just what they needed to get their happily ever after.

I love a good friends to lovers book, especially since the love always seems more genuine. These two families grew up together, and I do mean grew up from diapers. They were involved in every facet of their lives and it showed in how easy the relationships and support flowed. She left him, her best friend and had to discover life outside their town, leaving him to nurse his broken heart. Now they're both back and hearts and truths are laid bare. Unfortunatly while I felt the friendship and the family ties, their background and all the connections, I had a really hard time with the instant change in her attitude towards him. The story is good, don't get me wrong and I do love this author's style. I plan on reading a lot more of this author in the future.
