To all the people who have attended, taught at, worked at, volunteered for, or sent their children to Garrison School in Walla Walla, Washington, as well as those who have lived in the neighborhood or will be doing so in the future. The school opened in 1955, and in honor of its 60th anniversary, alumni have planned a reunion, including the dedication of a sign to honor German immigrants from Russia who settled in the surrounding neighborhoods from 1882-1920, many of whose descendants attended Garrison, and whose history is included in this book.
