A Gift of Time by Beth Flynn

Book 3 of 3 in the Nine Minutes Trilogy.

A Gift of Time is the third installment in the Nine Minutes Trilogy. It is not intended to be a stand-alone novel, but could be read as one. Still, I highly recommend that you read my first two novels, Nine Minutes and Out of Time, to be able to understand the background stories of the main characters. There are many twists and turns in both books that can best be connected if read consecutively.

Are some secrets meant to stay buried?

Three months have passed since Jason "Grizz" Talbot was put to death by lethal injection for crimes he committed. His former wife, Ginny, whom he had abducted from a convenience store when she was a teenager and became the love obsession of his life, has spent more than the last decade trying to carve out a life of normalcy in the bustling suburbs of Fort Lauderdale--including a thriving and happy marriage to Tommy "Grunt" Dillon, a former member of Grizz's gang.

Tired of the secrets and the lies, Ginny and Tommy thought the final piece of their past could be left behind forever with Grizz's execution. However, the past comes crashing around Ginny and Tommy when a newly discovered secret threatens to destroy their marriage.

When tragedy strikes, Ginny is forced to reach into her heart and decide, once and for all, what she really wants.

In this third book in the Nine Minutes trilogy, A Gift of Time takes readers from the busy tropical metropolis of South Florida into the serenity of the North Carolina Blue Ridge mountains as Ginny chases down the answers she needs.

Will she have the strength to confront the secrets of her past...and her heart?

When I first started A Gift Of Time I didn’t think I was going to rate it this high. The first half of the book had so much going on and with the POV’s and timelines jumping all over the place it was a lot to take in. Some things did seem a bit farfetched and quite honestly unnecessary. But once I got to the second half of the story flowed much more fluidly and I found myself not wanting it to end. This was a beautiful ending to a gritty story.

I was a little disappointed with the way Tommy's character ended up, but all in all, I agree with the other readers, this is how it should have ended. Thank you for a wonderful read.

Loved these books. So many twists and turns. In some respect, a typical biker story but in others, so much more!! Would like to see a book on Mimi.

Best series I've read in a long, long time! Usually, by the 3rd book, a series can become stale--not this one! This book answered many of the questions from books 1 & 2, plus threw new twists into the plot. I was sorry to see it end, but it was ended so well!

To say this book was amazing is an understatement. The entire trilogy has been an addictive, roller coaster ride. As with the other books, this book took you through more twists and turns than you imagine. I could not put it down and couldn't read it fast enough. It was the PERFECT conclusion to a story that was written so well that you could not get enough!!! Congratulations Beth Flynn for writing a series that goes on the favorites list! I cannot wait to see what you come up with next. If you are looking for something a bit different, totally addictive with mystery galore this trilogy is for you!

First and foremost I just want to say I was so sad to see this series come to an end. Beth Flynn did an amazing job not only with this book but the entire series. I enjoyed the different POVs as well as the story going back and forth through time so you get all the questions answered. I was amazed how seamlessly the story flowed but I didn't expect anything less. I want to make a point to say I am Team Grizz all the way and have been since 9 Minutes. This story though..... My goodness! My heart broke and Grunt/Tommy filled the cracks and helped mend it. Although Grizz is and will always be my favorite, I will say Tommy has a special place in my heart. This book took me through so many emotions.... and I will say, a few times I screamed, "No, Beth! You wouldnt!". I got many shocks as well! Some were Funny (Grizz in prison.... in the Library) and some were heartbreaking! I don't want to go into to much detail because I don't want to ruin anything but what I will say is; this book is not only a must read, it's probably THE BOOK of 2016! The character growth is outstanding. This story definitely keeps you on your toes.
