It was during this time in poor Ugly's life that she wished she had never been born. She had no friends to share her feelings with and happiness was like an elusive butterfly that refused to stay in one place, let alone settle in her life. She wanted desperately to do things that other kids did, like go to parties and dances, but no one would even think of asking Ugly to do anything!
Can someone who feels ugly find happiness despite what others think about them? Find out as our character takes you on a journey from rejection to acceptance and from being alone to finding love.

Excellent book with an excellent message! I recommend this book for any child!
One of the best childrens stories I have read to my kids in a long time! Suspensful and unpredictable my kids loved it. Has a good message about loving yourself and treating others like you want to be treated. I highly recommend it for ages 8 to 15
