About the Author

Amy Vastine has been plotting stories in her head for as long as she can remember. An eternal optimist, she studied social work, hoping to teach others how to find their silver lining. Now, she enjoys creating happily ever afters for all to read. Amy lives outside Chicago with her high school sweetheart-turned-husband, three fun-loving children, and their sweet but mischievous puppy dog. Visit her at www.amyvastine.com
Liz Flaherty spends non-writing time sewing and thinking she should clear a path through the fabric stash in her office. She also loves to travel and spend time with the grandkids (the Magnificent Seven) and their parents. She and Duane, her husband of a really long time, live in the Indiana farmhouse they moved to in 1977. They’ve talked about moving, but really, 40-some years of stuff? It’s not happening! She’d love to hear from you at lizkflaherty@gmail.com.
Leigh Riker can't imagine anything better than having a good romance novel to read--unless it is to write one! When not writing or thinking about writing, this award-winning author also likes to garden, play the piano, travel and try to learn Spanish. At home in the Southeast with her husband/hero and their mischievous Maine Coon cat for inspiration, she is at work (of course) on a new novel.

Jennifer Snow lives in Edmonton, Alberta with her husband and four year old son. She is a member of the RWA, the Alberta Writers Guild, Canadian Authors Association and SheWrites.org. Her first Brookhollow book was a finalist in the Heart of Denver Aspen Gold contest and the Golden Quill Award. More information can be found at www.jennifersnowauthor.com
Romance that sizzles Stories that thrill Characters you can't leave behind

Sophia puts her childhood habit of daydreaming to good use by writing stories she hopes will give you hope, make you laugh, cry, and possibly snort tea from your nose. She was born in Bombay, India, has lived in the Canary Islands, Spain, Toronto, Canada, and currently resides in Washington DC. She loves to read, travel, bake, scuba dive, watch foreign movies, and hear from readers.
A USA Today Bestselling author of 80 novels, in twenty languages, Tara Taylor Quinn has sold more than seven million copies. Pamela Tracy, a writer from Arizona, has written more than twenty books.  Her first Love Inspired Suspense, Pursuit of Justice, was a 2008 RITA finalist. Her third Love Inspired Suspense, Broken Lullaby, won the ACFW Carol award in 2009.  Her devotional, Promises and Prayers for Teachers, reached number two on the Christian Booksellers Association’s bestseller list.  Pamela is a past president of CWOW, Christian Writers of the West.
Award-winning author Karen Rock is both sweet & spicy—at least when it comes to her writing! The author of YA and adult contemporary books writes spicy suspense and small-town romances. A big believer in Happily-Ever-After, Karen loves creating unforgettable stories that leave her readers smiling. Karen is an avid reader and baker who loves having the Adirondack Park as her backyard, where she lives with her husband and daughter who make her life complete.
Carol Ross lives with her husband and two dogs (a perfect border collie and a perfectly loveable miscreant of a dachshund) in a small town in Washington near both the ocean and the mountains. She loves the Northwest because, when the temperamental weather cooperates, she enjoys hiking, running, skiing, and spending time outdoors. And when it doesn’t…she dons a raincoat, or gets lost in a book. She enjoys reading in many genres but writes about what she loves the most-romance.
Kate spent much of her childhood abroad before attending university in Canada. She built a successful business career, but her passion has always been literature. As a result Kate turned her energy to her love of the written word. Kate's goal is to entertain her readers with engaging stories featuring strong, likable characters. Kate has been honored with numerous awards for her writing. She and her husband, Ken, enjoy traveling and the outdoors with their beloved Labrador Retrievers.
Cari Lynn Webb lives in South Carolina with her husband, daughters and assorted four-legged family members. She's been blessed to see the power of true love in her grandparent's 70 year marriage and her parent's marriage of over 50 years. She knows love isn't always sweet and perfect, it can be challenging, complicated and risky. But she believes happily-ever-afters are worth fighting for. She loves to connect with readers.
Award winning and USA Today Bestselling author Rula Sinara lives in rural Virginia with her family and crazy but endearing pets. She loves organic gardening, attracting wildlife to her yard, planting trees, raising backyard chickens and drinking more coffee than she'll ever admit to. Rula's writing has earned her a National Readers Choice Award and HOLT Medallion Award of Merit, among other honors. Discover more at www.RulaSinara.com, where you can sign up for her newsletter.
Melinda grew up on an isolated sheep ranch, where mountain lions had been seen and yet she roamed unaccompanied. Being a rather optimistic, clueless of danger, sort she took to playing "what if" games that led her to become an author.  She spends days trying to figure out new ways to say "He made her heart pound."  That might sound boring, but the challenge keeps her mentally ahead of her 3 kids and college sweetheart husband.

A Heartwarming Thanksgiving by various Harlequin Authors Love the idea of this book because so many new authors for me to discover along with old ones that I like to read their stories. Also each story comes with a recipe for the holiday meal. Read all the books and can't select just one book as my favorite. Each one teaches me about new places and things I want to see for myself. A turkey farm, sounds so easy but we've never been to one. Each one also has a feeling of not only family but others who enjoy helping others. Some favorite novellas: a pregnant woman who meets up with a man from high school days who not only delivers her child in an airport... An old woman who's spent 12 years as a widow and has found another love draws the other members of the family together for the ceremony. Soldiers home for the holidays...loved hearing about all the careers the characters have, learning new words and learning about new places as they are so detailed you want to step into the book. Love parts where others bring those less fortunate home for a hot meal as that is something we do. Other heroes stories: policemen, firemen and men served in the military along with school teachers and other service people and their stories. Also liked the one about the family tree and what it symbolizes about the past and the future. Some lengths some go through, amazing! I received this book from Prism Book Tours in exchange for my honest review

Great stories by an all-star cast of authors will put you instantly in the mood for Thanksgiving. The recipes included after each one will make sure you’re ready for the big day! Love, romance, family, friendship, even a little mystery and a lot of tenderness – you are in for all this and so much more. An excellent collection without a weak story in the bunch! (I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.)

This is a fantastic collection of 13 short stories that will warm your heart, tickle your funny bone, and remind you of what is really important for this holiday season. You'll find all sorts of heroes and heroines (doctors, firemen, businessmen, chefs, soldiers....) and all your favorite tropes on the pages of this book. Each story is perfect for a quick lunchtime read and will leave you with a smile on your face. It's the perfect way to get introduced to new authors you may not have read before. I definitely found a couple I'm going to be reading more from! This is one I highly recommend.
