A Hometown 4th of July by June Foster

After Max Tate meets Lynn Marshall at the 4th of July celebration at Ft. Freedom, Washington, he's attracted to the curvaceous blond. Lynn helps Max locate his birth-mother, but when they take a ferry to Cascade Island in search of her, they're too late. She died two weeks before. As he finally uncovers the truth about the woman who gave him up, he's stunned. Now Max is mad at God and turns his back on the best friend he ever had-Lynn Marshall.

Lynn got lost as middle child in her large family. When Max declares his love for her, she gives him her heart, but he hurls it back. Even an orphaned boy crying out for affection isn't enough to soften Max's heart.

Will Max and Lynn find love for each other again to celebrate another Fourth?

About the Author

I am a retired school teacher with a BA in Education and a MA in Counseling. We live and travel in our RV, so my resourceful husband took the couch out and set up a writing desk with two filing cabinets for me. I had never written fiction until the Lord put a story in my heart. When I told it to my daughter one day, she suggested I write it. That was the spark I needed. I love to write stories in which Christian men and women find victory in their lives through the power of God. I¿ve written two other novels before the Bellewood Series Desert Breeze is publishing. Besides writing, I scrapbook, make cards, and enjoy my sixteen grandchildren.
