The characters are great. The story is really interesting...a lot of twists and turns as the main character Kip and Sheridan learn to forgive those who hurt them and put their past behond them so that they can love each other as God would want them two. Both characters had horrible things happen in the past. It is not easy to move forward in their life especially when they keep getting reminded of what happened. For them,as with most people, forgiveness is more than a simple phrase or a snap decision. It is hard and often we struggle with it. We give it to God and then we take it back and worry ssome more or allow ourselves to get angry over something we can no longer change. Forgiveness is a process, as we learn from the characters in this book. But once we truly forgive, we can get on with our lives without the pain, the burden, of the past constantly overshadowing our choices. We are free...
