Moona knows she's a wolf, but there's nothing in her life worth howling about.
Werewolf healer Moona intends to make the former Jezibaba keep her promise to help her discover why she's never been able to shift. Born under a blood moon, her parents named her for it. She owes it to her parents, their memory, and the sexy alpha of the pack who hasn't given up on her to keep searching for answers.
Her birthday is coming soon. Those significant decade ones can sometimes be magical. Maybe this year her favorite wish will finally come true.
Does she have a future with Jared as his mate? Will she ever lure her wolf out?
Moona doesn't have the answers yet, but she won't give up until she's a howling success.
ABOUT THIS SERIES
The Jezibaba Saga is outrageous romantic paranormal comedy fun. What could be better to write than feisty witches, hot dragons, sneaky fairies, and sexy werewolves? I laughed the whole time this series was coming together.
The Jezibaba Saga is part of the Love Spells collection. The following three books are my contribution (with more to come).
Book 1 All Fired Up
Book 2 Not Fairy Common
Book 3 A Howling Success

Loved this book. So fun to read, please keep them coming
I have been looking forward to Moona’s story and I was not disappointed. Moona is a werewolf healer that cannot shift. She met up with, and helped, Elenora (former Jezibaba), with [let’s call it] an adventure in a previous story. Elenora promised to help Moona figure out why she can’t shift and help her to do so. That’s a really simplified explanation of the story and Ms. McDonald tells it SO much better! Moona knows she has a mate, Jared, however since he is alpha of her former pack, she stays clear of him because she doesn’t want to impede him, in any way, in his job as alpha. At its core, this story is about Moona’s journey to get to know herself and to open her heart to Jared. It is sometimes staggering (at how nasty people/shifters/just about anybody can be), sometimes heart wrenching, sometimes funny, and sometimes smexy. I love how patient Jared was and how Moona really took figuring out what is wrong to heart. Really good story. I always enjoy a visit to the (former) Jezibaba’s world and hope I get to visit again soon.
JOIN THE JEZIBABA READER FAN GROUP!! This is a fun paranormal series with funny dialogue mixed with romance. "A Howling Success" has our Moona's story told. Moona is an Alpha wolf that can't shift. Oh but she wants to so that she can be with her mate without bringing weakness to the pack. HEA! McDonald's Saga can stand alone but they are quick reads so don't miss the prior ones in this group. A Howling Success by Donna McDonald Jezibaba #3 Moona is in the prime of her life working as a healer’s assistant. Her desire is to shift into the werewolf she KNOWS she is but after sixty years she feels it will never happen AND knowing this she has avoided being with Jared, the alpha male destiny has chosen for her. Jezibaba is supposed to help uncover the reason she is unable to shift and after talking to Willa and making a plan Moona is set on a course that may just see her heart’s desire fulfilled…perhaps even a couple of her desires will be achieved before the end of the book. With dragons, witches, fairies, wizards and werewolves this is an action-packed fun-filled paranormal romance. Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review. 4 Stars
