I usually enjoy reading time travel books, this..eh not so much. Truthfully it was Lucy, she ruined what should have been an enjoyable read. I swear all she did was cry and run away the entire story! Then listening to town gossip and taking it as the gospel truth just made her even stupider! She trusted William to give her a place to live, to give her a personal guard, to give her gold whenever she wanted to buy something or have something made, but distrusted him when it came to his honor and loyalty...all because of gossip! Give me a break..she's from the future! She should have known there are multiple sides to every story! So, no I didn't enjoy this as much as I could have if the heroine was stronger and more of a fighter, which Lucy wasn't. SR

Good read. Didn't flow. Over simplified ending with a bit of a cliffhanger.

Thank goodness this book was free because it was hard to finish and I found it to be very repetitive. This is my first time travel book so it might just not be my style.

This was a really sweet time travel romance about a young woman, Lucy, from the future and a knight from 1307, William. I enjoyed the story and I think most fans of time travel romances will too.

In any time travel book, you have to start in one time, in this case the present, in order to travel to another time, frequently the past. I liked how the author laid the groundwork to set up the reason for falling through time which I found to be very entertaining. The fact that there were no explicit sex scenes kept the story moving quickly and realistically. I didn't miss the lack of sex scenes in the story, as the implied romantic interest/chemistry, between the main characters was written so well. I also bought the audio version of this book, narrated by Kristina Blackstone. I loved her "southern, North Carolina accent for Lucy, but would have preferred a bit more distinction between the male voices. She is a talented narrator, so that is just personal preference. I have enjoyed books 1&2 so am looking forward to reading book 3 as soon as possible. I would easily recommend this story to friends that enjoy sweet, time travel romances. Four stars for story, performance, and interest.

I enjoyed the story line and the humor. I also enjoyed the realism without the over-acting of some other books I've read. Some awkward reading moments in the book for me such as Williams character not fully coming to life and the type of wording in the book is a little off. Overall a quick but enjoyable read!

I dot understand all the bad reviews! This starts out a bit slow but has interesting characters and plenty of conflict. Reads almost like I would think if I had slipped back in time! A fun read!
