A Leader and His Word is an inspiring, enlightening and entertaining book filled with practical tips on leadership. With over twenty-five years of experience teaching leadership subjects to managers and executives throughout the country, Gerry Olson brings his unique perspective to the challenges of today's leaders. Designed to be a quick read for busy executives, the book aligns the Scriptures with the issues leaders face every day at work.
In one of Charles Schulz's classic Peanuts cartoons, Snoopy is depicted on his back, lying on top of his dog house looking up at the sky and bemoaning his fate. "It's just not right," he says. "People expect too much of me." In the second frame, he continues to complain, "It's just not fair. It's unreasonable." His complaining continues through the third frame and finally in the last frame, he seems to have come to terms with his situation and says: "It's tough being the head beagle!"
