Romance, intrigue, mystery and history, all rolled into one neat, tidy package. Ms. Burks novel, A Legacy of Love, holds all that and more. As an author, she clearly has mastered poetic verse and the evidence is clearly stated throughout this novel. Although I am normally not a mystery/romance mix kind of gal, I can say without hesitation that I enjoyed reading A Legacy of Love. I am looking forward to Ms. Burks next work.

What do you get with a sudden heiress, gorgeous men, and a murderous assailant? A Legacy of Love, of course! Suspense, romance, thrills....ah, what an excellent book! Just the way I like them ~ no graphic scenes, no swearing, in short, nothing to be ashamed of. Meet the Cast of Characters: Sweet, tenderhearted Dani McKinnon, the sudden heiress of Stratford Hall. With the loss of her parents at a young age, she's turned her back on God ~ the one she blames for their deaths. Kind-hearted Mrs. O'Brien, who tenderly and wisely nudges her young friend back to her Maker, one step at a time. Justin Harcourt - the heartthrob and gorgeous love interest of Dani McKinnon. Although he's gorgeous, Dani can't seem to allow herself to completely trust him. Is he after her for her new-found fortune? Or does he really care? Blake Spencer - top notch private investigator with looks to boot! Exactly what a single young lady's guardian 'angel' should look like. He not only does his job well, but he purposefully throws Dani's love life into a tail spin. If you like good, clean romances with a redemptive quality and happy endings, don't miss this book. Miss Burks delivers! Reviewed by Amanda Stephan, author of The Price of Trust
