Overview

"Never look back; you may only find what you left or let you go", she told him one day. Now, though, it's different. Vassilis has only a moment to reminisce all about his life: his childhood in Greece, the big family secret, the life-changing betrayal, the long train journey, the birth of a child, his new start in London, his ravishing love affair...

No matter how long this narration may take, in reality it only lasts for a moment. Is it enough to encapsulate a whole life?

A story about passion, love, solitude and betrayal. A novella about fate's strange games and life's unexpected turnovers. A book about the people's journey to a destination that becomes very different to the one initially set.

I usually don't read a book unless i read through the customer reviews, but luckily i read this book although reviews were unavailable for me. So i'm hoping someone will read this review and enjoy the book as much as i did. It was over my expectations...bitter sweet, an easy read of just over 300 pages. The author has a way with words! Good character development and interesting.

Loved this book. Author has a lovely way of expressing feelings and showing that many men actually do have a soft side to them. Waiting with great anticipation for his next book.

Well written with well developed characters. Had a movie reel in my head the whole time. Fell apart at the end. Do all writers today feel the need to have a tragic and dramatic ending? Is it too much to ask for a nice, happy ending every once in a while? I wish there was a website that would tell you not to waste your time because you will be really ticked off at the ending. Are you listening Stephen King? I think you should personally refund my purchase of Revival.

I loved this book. I usually hate shorter stories because of the poor character development, but these characters portrayed their depth, their feelings of heartbreak, betrayal and love. Sad ending but well-done.

The writing style struck me as the story was written by perhaps a young teen...very stiff, no real flow to conversations or verbal exchanges between characters. Basic story line was ok, but needs work by experienced writer to pull it all together.

A bit on the corny side, but well-written and interesting.

In the “fast food” culture of literature, “A Life In A Moment” is a fine meal that should be savored and appreciated. Although it is a short read, there is so much “story” packed in and it is filled with beautiful descriptions and memorable characters that really come to life in such a short time span. I was completely hooked in this story and thought the prose was elegant and clean. Very few (if any) editing mistakes, however, I was curious about the odd punctuation for the quote marks. Maybe that’s how it’s done in Greece? All in all a wonderful read that I’d highly recommend.
