A Little Loving (Pacific Northwest Lovers Series, Book 2) by Gael Morrison

Jenny Holden fell in love with Matt Chambers, the local high-school football star. When she became pregnant, he didn't believe the baby was his.

A college football scholarship in-hand, Matt's life had no room for fatherhood or Jenny. Now a pro-ball player, Matt is back in town to attend the wedding of his best friend, who is also Jenny's boss.

When Matt sees Jenny's son, the boy's parentage is unquestionable. Sam is the spitting image of him and just as wild.

Jenny, now a widow, knows all Sam wants is a father, his real father. But can she trust the man who turned his back on them or trust herself not to fall for him again?

"...so well-drawn, engaging and believable ...a thoroughly satisfying read." ~Kay Gregory, multi-published author

I couldn't put this book down. I shared Jenny's skepticism when her old love suddenly re-appeared. I shared her terror when her son was lost. And I shared her journey into true and lasting love. I highly recommend this book and all Gael Morrison's books.

Remember how rough high school was, with broken promises and a broken heart? Jenny is years past the trauma. As a widow raising a 12 year old, she has put those memories behind her and concentrates on making the present comfortable and happy for herself and her son. And then a heartbreaker from her past comes back to town. This is a sweet romance, an easy read, to warm your heart on a cold day. Okay, I read it when the rain was pouring down my window.
