Overview

A Magnetic Couple Dilemma by Naaju Rorrete

Disappointed by politics and coverups, Father Esteban Hidalgo decides to leave the church, regardless of his conservative family tradition. The real trigger for his decision is losing his best friend, Mauricio, who died of AIDS, and whose last letter stirs forbidden desires, besides asking Esteban to look out for Mauricio’s widower, Javier Lozano.
Without Mauricio's love Javier collapses, and the only thing which keeps him going on is to fulfill Mauricio's last wish. Javier has to personally return twenty years of letters to Mauricio's pen pal and best friend, Esteban. Someone Javier hasn’t meet, but whose voice over the phone, helps Javier cope with his ignorant family that doesn’t even understand the difference between being HIV positive and having AIDS. The meeting between Javier and Esteban changes their lives, but standing between them is a lethal virus, Esteban family’ prejudice, an age gap, and the memories of the man—both once loved.

About the Author

I live somewhere in the Northeastern United States and write gay fiction, because there are passions that don't fit in any closet. For the record, I must disclose that I shave every day before putting on the makeup. Just in case, we meet, and you notice the stubble under it.

To homophobic jackass You know what is nasty and gross? You and your negativeness. First off, if you saw the cover you should have used common sense to figure out that  it is a gay romance. Secondly, the reviewer below is right. Your mouth should be burned, because it's people like you that are the reason others can't be themselves, because they are too afraid of what might happen to them. So you know what you can do? You can take your negativeness and go somewhere else, because you obviously don't wanna be on this page. Goodbye and have a nice day :)

I thought this was a good story and well written since it was free. At least the Priest pulled away from the church rather than live in constant lies and denials. Most don't and there are a lot of gay priests who make sure the world doesn't know about them. Like a previous poster, most cannot accept gay priests and living a lie is necessary. An honest person who is not judgmental would enjoy this free story. If you are a prejudiced and homophobic, don't bother.

First off two men cannot be married. It is too disgusting to contemplate. Now you have a priest in on the deviancy? Nasty and gross. This should be burned
