Why? Why have I waited this long to read a book in the Aisle Bound Series by Christi Barth? I love sexy, sassy contemporary romance books and A Matchless Romance is the definition of that. Sassy heroine, a geeky hero and a happy ever after (several in fact). A Matchless Romance is the fourth book in the Aisle Bound Series, but the first one I have read. It can easily be read as a standalone, but I so badly want to go back and read all the other books now to get to know the other characters. I love it when a book in a series does that! In this story Tabitha is running a matchmaking business and Drew is a video game designer looking for some help interacting with women, since he royally offended his female boss and needs to be able to nail some upcoming marketing interviews. From their first encounter, Tabitha and Drew hit it off. Their friendly demeanor and chemistry was so fun to watch. Christi brings such humor to both of these characters in very different ways. Drew takes everything very literal and Tabitha gets such a kick out of it. Since this series is new to me, I did not know the other characters very well. However, they all seemed like one big happy family and I can't wait to go back and read other books in the series to get to know them. I like contemporary romance novels where you can't put the book down because you are having too much fun and this book did that for me. The story moves along at a great pace and I couldn't wait to see how Drew was going to win Tabitha's heart.

A Matchless Romance is a quirky, fun and highly entertaining nerd meets match maker love story.  Tabitha Bell has a crash encounter with video game maker Drew Watson. Drew isn't looking for a match he is looking for help/coaching on how to deal with women without insulting them. You see Drew, says it like he sees it without any social filters, causing offense as often as he pleases. We get to watch the attraction grow from lust to something deeper, but will either of them recognize it in time? A Matchless Romance is a completely entertaining, easy, enjoyable read. I received this copy of A Matchless Romance from Christi Barth in exchange for a honest review.

3.5 stars A Matchless Romance was a cute, quick and enjoyable read.  I do have a soft spot for the Geeky/Hot combination in a hero so it was no surprise that I jumped at the chance to review this.  Drew was the delicious combination of drop-dead gorgeous, awkward in social situations, nerdy and clueless of his own hotness.  I loved Drew (even though he had some cringe worthy/awkward moments). This was my first book by Christi Barth and I was easily wrapped up in her writing style and unique characters.  What I didn't realize was that this was a final book in a series.  A Matchless Romance can be read as a stand alone, but I was lost in a few places trying to catch up on all the characters and side stories going on.  (I would recommend reading this in series order so you don't feel lost like I did, especially in the epilogue). Tabitha and Drew had great chemistry and the unique way they met and started their working relationship was fun and filled with yummy tension.  I do wish we had more time with Drew and Tabitha, it would have been nice to see them as a couple and there were a few times it felt as if some of their "big" moments were glossed over and rushed in order finish telling the stories of the previous 3 books' characters (and if I had read this series in order I am sure I would feel different).  Maybe there will be more in this series? Christi Barth is an Author I will be going back to again!  A Matchless Romance had me smiling, laughing, sighing and craving more!  If you are in the mood for a hero that isn't your normal Alpha then you need to meet Drew and see how gaming can be romantic!

A really fun read. Laughed out loud many times. Fell in love the Drew with his clueless personality. Loved Tabitha and she had her own issues but they made a very neat couple. Loved it. .

I'm going to start by quickly getting two important points out of the way. One, though A Matchless Romance is the fourth in the Aisle Bound series, it can definitely be read as a stand alone with no problem, as I did. And two, I ADORED this story! I've genuinely enjoyed all the many alphas men I've partaken in over recent years, truly. But these days I'm finding that I'm enjoying a different variety of hero, the nice guys, or at the very least, the men who can be strong and confident and demanding, but who also don't completely trample over the lady in their sights. Normal guys who some days come across strong and other days are happy to let the lady lead. I am specifically in the market for beta heroes. Drew Watson of A Matchless Romance happens to be one of the best I've come across. Drew is a socially awkward game developer who needs help to comfortably discuss the business side gaming for his job. The socially awkward angle is not surprising, right? But... there is more to Drew than a being a smarty pants gamer/creator. He is also a former Olympian, currently training for marathons to challenge himself. Drew is comfortable among his peers, or apparently sexing his way through the Olympic Village and various gamer cons he attends. But when it comes to a normal conversation outside his comfort zone, it's a no-go. His school years, with the taunts and shunning, left Drew convinced he will never fit in. What's more, he has NO idea that he is in fact a gorgeous, athletic man with a lot to offer any lucky woman. He just needs to tone down the literalism he brings to every discussion, and to relax. Tabitha Bell, matchmaker extraordinaire is also up for the challenge. Tasked with helping Drew become more relaxed in social situations.Tabitha, a gamer herself, and a fan of Drew's work, is quick to see his appeal. She is torn between helping Drew with the opposite sex, and claiming him for herself. Her surprising and complicated background makes Tabitha very wary of work relationships. How does she reconcile wanting Drew for herself with doing her job well? So what we have her is a SLOW BURN and it is delicious. Drew wants Tabitha, but doesn't believe a geek like him can land a babe like her. Tabitha wants Drew as well, but doesn't want to jeopardize her new career. Plus, with Drew's behavior, he doesn't exactly seem like a sure thing. The build-up between the two was slow and delicious, as I mentioned. But despite the lack of heavy sexy times between them, I never felt the story was lacking steam. The flirtation was a strong dynamic in the story, and most definitely made up for the slow-building sexy times. I like that the (hopefully) inevitable moment was built up through a series of increasing steamy interactions. I appreciate the author taking her time and allowing a true and strong connection to develop. Letting Drew and Tabitha earn their moment. I have a surprising amount to discuss for such a short book. That is because despite the length, A Matchless Romance was a very well-developed story. I never felt as if the author skipped vital pieces to the story or that I was cheated out of important moments and feelings. This was a very funny novella. Almost every quote I highlighted was a funny, and lemme tell you, I highlighted a lot of passages. A Matchless Romance is my only second Christi Barth read. You can bet that I will be checking out the rest of the Aisle Bound series, and will be keeping a sharp eye on her future works.

As the fourth book, Christi Barth concludes the Aisle Bound Series with this delightfully hilarious novel, A Matchless Romance. As one of her city’s leading matchmakers, Tabitha Bell is pretty strong and confident in her job, that is, until she met Drew Watson. Drew Watson makes money from the games he made and he has this adorable tendency to take everything literally and to respond to it in a logical, nerdy way. Barth created strong characters and highlighted each of their peculiarities really well. I think what really made this a very good read is that the story is fun, light-hearted, and the narration engages the reader to join in on the excitement all the characters are having with the ups and downs and twists and turns of their lives. The inclusion of old characters made it a more striking and powerful ending to this series. I was given an e-copy by The Jeep Diva for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review. All conclusions are my own responsibility. Flames: 3

A Matchless Romance is the final book in Christi Barth’s Aisle Bound Series. Even though this book is part of a series you don’t have to read the other books. A Matchless Romance is the story of Tabitha Bell and Drew Watson. Tabitha is a matchmaker who’s unlucky in love. Due to her upbringing, she knows men and she’s very good at matching people together. Unfortunately for Tabitha, her upbringing also tends to make men have a misconceived perception of her. Drew is a video game designer. He’s very good at what he does. Drew is attractive but doesn't see it. He tends to say the first thing that comes to mind, and that can be a little awkward in social situations. Especially around women. Drew tends to be analytical and takes comments literally. He is one of those rare heroes who is both an Alpha and a Beta. Tabitha and Drew initially meet when Drew runs into her and unintentionally cops a feel. With the future of his new video game on the line, Drew convinces Tabitha to use her matchmaking skills to coach him on how to be around women in order to please his female boss. The attraction between these two is there from the start. Drew doesn’t think someone as beautiful as Tabitha could ever be interested in a gaming-geek like him. Drew is the kind of guy Tabitha really would love to be with. She doesn’t want to risk her job and become her mother. When these two finally get together, it’s more than they dreamed. Simply put, A Matchless Romance is truly a feel good read that will have you smiling and laughing out loud from the very beginning. Christi has written a wonderful story to end her Aisle Bound Series. Source: Author

A Matchless Romance by Christi Barth is the 4th and final book in her wonderful Aisle Bound series. This book belongs to Tabitha, who runs the matchmaking part of A Fine Romance store that Ivy added to her wedding planning business. Tabitha meets Drew, a computer geek at the start. Drew, who creates computer games, and hires Tabitha to help him learn how to act in front of women. Seems Drew continually puts his foot in his mouth when working with some woman, and when he insults a high dollar client, he is in danger of losing the job of his lifetime. Tabitha normally does not handle teaching someone how to act, she is more into finding couples to match. But something about Drew, besides his super athletic looks, and body; makes Tabitha accept the job. What follows is humorous attempt to change Drew, bringing in many of our favorite characters from the earlier books; such as Ivy, Mira, Daphne, Gib, Ben, Milo, Sam, just to name a few. Early on Drew’s constant mishaps were funny, and at times embarrassing. But despite that, Tabitha saw the effect of Drew’s good looks had on other women, as well as finding herself becoming attracted to him. Drew, who was attracted to Tabitha from the start, was literally blind to how other woman saw him. Neither Drew nor Tabitha realized how the other felt. This was a sweet and at times humorous romance, which did have some steamy parts later on. As much as I did enjoy this quick read, I felt that this was not as good as the first three books. But that might just be the couples in the first were awesome. Great series by Christi Barth, which if you have not read, you should do so. It is a fun and romantic series.
