About the Author

Nichole Chase is a daydreamer. No, really, just ask any of the math teachers that had the misfortune of seeing her name appear on their class schedule. For years she has had story lines and characters begging for attention, but she resolutely pushed them aside to focus on more normal (read, boring) jobs. Well, no longer! She is currently heeding the voices in her head and frantically writing their stories. Nichole resides in South Georgia with her husband, energetic toddler, three dogs, and two cats. When not devouring novels by the dozens, you may find her writing, painting, crafting, or chasing her daughter around the house while making monster noises.

This (very) short story was so absolutely precious. We get to see Mena as a young child on the Islands getting to visit with Santa. After seeing him practically melting in his suit, Mena takes it upon herself to get him a gift. In return, Santa also grants her a special wish. Come see what Mena asks of jolly Saint Nick and fall into this magical story. It will definitely warm your heart in just a few short pages. And best of all it is free!

I really liked this book, but I think I would have liked it better if it was longer because it ends and leavea you hanging and wondering what happens next. I think I would have liked it better if they told you about what happened between Meena and Blake, did they fall in love or did Blake find out anout Meena while following her when she went swimming?
