Duty-bound Bob McIntyre is happily married to Amy, the love of his life. About the Author

Gordon Self is a senior healthcare executive who imaginatively weaves together the tragic absurdities of life, as well as the often-hilarious events that bonds us in shared humanity. His engaging and provocative prose as showcased in two previous novels, The Necessities of Life (2014) and Drowning in Iowa (2015), have taken readers to inner-city back alleys, picturesque rural communities, and now, with his new offering, to luxurious Palm Springs and the hauntingly beautiful barrenness of the California desert.
