About the Author
Mamta Reid has a background in Biomedical Sciences and has studied in both Africa and Australia.She came from a family of physicians, where there was always an emphasis placed on a healthy vegetarian diet. She found a passion for cooking when she was only nine years old, when she began experimenting with food. Having traveled to different countries, she discovered new spices and ingredients that have since influenced her culinary perspective. Mamta specializes in combining a wide range of ingredients from different cultures to create her signature 'Melting Pot' dishes. She owns and runs a vegetarian catering business in Tokyo and is currently in the process of writing the third in a series of six cookbooks for adults.
