Summer Newman longed for the peace and tranquility she had experienced, while visiting with her family in the Adirondack Mountains. She knew that the missed call and voice mail were from her estranged husband, Dr. Mitchel Brown. It was early evening when Summer finally gave in and called her voice mail. A tear silently tumbled down her cheek, as she listened to his grief filled voice. When the call ended, Summer hit delete as she breathed out, “Mitchel, think of me all you want. You made your choice. I’ve made mine.”
