Allison braves her fragile finances, the sudden death of her father and the guilt of leaving her mother alone, and moves from Orange County, California to the Marais district of Paris. From her Paris apartment she writes to loved ones back home. As each pulls their letter from the envelope, a key falls into their hands, dislodging their delicate facades, fracturing their excuses, and crumbling their blind beliefs. For Addie and Eve, it shatters a charade of a lifetime.
