'Perilous Bargain' is a tale that can be mysterious and familiar at the same time. I love the way Ms. Peart takes the reader to Ireland and makes him experience Ireland. The detailing and the charactes are very well developed, and the plots are good, albeit a little prozaic. My only grievance is the overuse of the characters' names. Despite the lack of pronouns, though, it is a good book, and I would recommend it to any reader who is interested. So get some Irish coffee and settle down with 'Perilous Bargain'.
