The river has so many stories it is an excellent creative influence as are the changing seasons in the local parks and gardens near her home.Bev has deliberately chosen popular poems as she wants it to be accessible to everyone who can appreciate the sentiment and mood of the stories and pictures these poems create. Taking a month by month journey through the year we see the ever changing seasons but Bev also touches on progress, change, history and memories. About the Author

Bev Clark is a drama facilitator, director and writer who lives on Wirral Merseyside. She has many plays available on Amazon but this is her first published book of poetry.

In 2008 she formed Hand in Hand Theatre Productions and their first production was a large community play for Capital of Culture entitled All Along The River. This was a pageant of music, poetry, drama and dance and including over 200 local people.
Bev, as well as other participants, wrote poems, prose and songs for this piece based on the Millennium Trail which runs from Seacombe to New Brighton along the promenade on the wirral side of the Mersey.

Thus began her love affair with the river and it is a constant source of inspiration. Her theatre company has gone on to win many awards and as a drama Adjudicator for Goda Bev visits many festivals around the country. She continues to write one act plays, short stories and poetry and enjoys supporting local arts projects both on the Wirral and across the North West . www.bevclarkplays.co.uk
