About the Author

Dr. Alice Cullinan is professor emerita of Religion and Religious Education, having taught for 30 years at Gardner-Webb University in the Department of Religious Studies and Philosophy. She has a PhD in Marriage and Family Counseling as well as Principles of Teaching. She won the prestigious teacher of the year award at the university and served as chair of her department for eight years. Dr. Cullinan has also served either part-time or full-time at Minister of Music or Education for over 40 years. She presently serves as Spiritual Enrichment/Christian Education Leader at the Greater Cleveland County Baptist Association in Shelby, N.C. She has authored three books and 19 devotional guides as well as numerous periodicals and newspaper articles in her local newspaper's faith section.
