It's a gem, and worth reading. Especially if you are interested in Puritan Theology, and Puritan thinking.
This book has changed the way i look at all that i held to be true, through logic, but more so scripture, Dr. Packer brings you through the intense spiritual knowledge of a truly godly group of people. It cut my heart into, and then sealed it again with God's truth
Packer allows the Puritans to speak for themselves all through this examination of their faith and walk, and they come out far better than the stereotype we have from Hawthorne's 'The Scarlet Letter.'
