In 1992, 133 cadets of the Annapolis Naval Academy were accused of stealing a copy of an exam required for their graduation. Deciding that the truth was more important than his career, Jeff Gantar came forward and admitted to seeing the test. He paid a dear price for being true to the Honor Code. He lost his degree and his naval commission, but he walked away with a clear conscience and the admiration of all who knew him.
