None of the Greensmith girls had an easy time of it in school--they were shunned and bullied. So when it came time to go to a high school reunion--none of them were very pleased--but the Lanswich Inquirer run by them had to cover the event. There were three women in particular who were a clique back then--and still apparently were that approached Rowen and her cousins pretending to be nice. They did some interviews and were more then ready to leave when suddenly a dead body fell down along with a whole bunch of ballons--it was one of the women! Ben, the sheriff (who is married to Rose-one of the Lainsich cousins)--asked Rowen to walk the scene to see if she could find out anything using her psychic ability to "talk" to ghosts. No such luck. There was a new detective that was working in the sheriff's department--a total non believer and not a very nice person! He really tried to get in the way of Rowen finding out who committed the murder. Intuition, rather then witchy powers, and good old fashioned talking to people ultimately got the answer. There were so many suspects and so many secrets in that little town I bet you won't put this one down until the very last page.
