Overview

Tonight Ben Stanton proposes to the special woman in his life. He has the ring, dinner reservations, a box of chocolates. While all seems blissful, things suddenly go wrong: anonymous phone calls, the shrill bark of an otherwise docile dog, rainy footsteps leading from his balcony door. When the past and present collide, Ben risks losing much more than the woman he loves.

About the Author

George lives with his wife Rebecca in Southern California; they have three daughters. He's a legal article writer by day, and fiction writer (and occasional stage actor) by night. George, after graduating from law school at University of California--Hastings, worked as a litigation attorney for a number of years. This background comes into play in his recent novel, Murder on Retreat. George is presently writing a novel which is also set in the legal world, an environment which is always challenging, often unpredictable, and sometimes dangerous.
