Rhonda Spearman Sims began writing in 1996 after The Notebook made its debut. Always eager to write poems and songs, Sims seriously began writing prose after Nicholas Sparks, an acquaintance of hers, first published. Born in Greenville, SC, Sims is a graduate of Woodmont High School. She has earned several college credits, with creative writing being the most important. In October 2021, after a serious bout with Covid, she vowed to finish her first novel, A Slight Interruption.
