Puddles Poodle is a kind-hearted puppy who is eager to surprise his dear Irish friend, Bernadette O'Bunny, with a special gift for St. Patrick's Day! Through his exciting adventures searching for the perfect gift, he learns about castles, leprechauns and shamrocks! Puddles also learns about St. Patrick and how he teaches the people of a country named Ireland about God. He discovers there are many shades of green which dot the landscape of the beautiful Irish countryside. Along the way, Puddles meets his good friend, Seamus Seal and greets Mrs. Murray in her bookstore. He is so happy when he finds the perfect present, but then is horrified when it slips out of his arms and falls into the mud. What is he going to do? Suddenly, the most amazing gift appears before his very eyes! He couldn't believe it! Puddles knows he is indeed touched by magic as you will be too when you try to do good for others!

About the Author
Maryann McMahon is a passionate, lifelong Educator who has worked for many years in the Academic Realm as a Pre-K, Kindergarten, First, Fifth-and-Sixth Grade Teacher, Assistant Principal and Educational Director. In 2005, Maryann was nominated by one of her former Pre-K Students to The National Honor Roll of Outstanding American Teachers. Throughout her teaching days in Elmhurst, New York, one of the most multicultural communities in the United States, Maryann authored multiple stories to spark imaginations, stimulate creativity and enhance knowledge to those entrusted to her care. She created unique tales to be utilized for innovative Instructional Units in Literacy. As a fundraiser for the school, Maryann authored two children's coloring books cleverly illustrated by one of her young students. Since Maryann feels strongly that literary advancement of our youngest generation is paramount, she generously donates a portion of her proceeds to the education of poor and orphan children abroad, as well as youngsters in need in the community.
In addition, Maryann also enjoys writing poetry and has had a number of her poetic works published in local newspapers, as well as an inclusion in a poetry book entitled "The Colors of Life" by the International Library of Poetry. She is most proud of her cherished poems, "A Mother - A Miracle of God's Creation!" and "Never Forget to Honor a Vet!" (A literary poem honoring veterans)
Maryann's long-held vision is that youngsters in all corners of the globe are provided with access to quality children's publications which will motivate, uplift and inspire them to achieve their highest potentials and realize their greatest dreams!
James Jacobson worked as a Graphic Designer in Textiles before becoming an Operating Engineer. A lifelong resident of New York, he and his wife, Leni, are the proud parents of 3 children.
