A Summer Without Dawn is a credit to the historical genre. The plot and the characters, larger than life, keep the reader in suspense, and demonstrate just how far the inhuman folly can drive the forces of consolidation and the threat of power. In short, a spectacular captivating novel by authors worth watching.

An absolutely captivating novel. The story is heartwrenching, uplifting, fascinating and truly an incredible depiction of a family torn assunder during the turbulent years of Armenian genocide. The characters are wonderfully real and developed so fully that one feels a loss at the end of the novel. It is a painstakingly accurate novel from a historical perspective. The authors have created an epic novel which illustrates the best and worst sides of mankind. It's an absolute read and you will remember it your entire life. It is bound to become a classic of its genre and hopefully a great movie soon.
