About the Author
Ilana Danneman was born Nov 6, 1964, just barely making into the "baby boomer" generation. As the youngest of four, she loved writing poems for her family and found diaries as a way to express her inner most thoughts and feelings. For the past 20 years she has been an author and writer for the catalog industry providing parents, teachers and therapists tools tips and solutions for their children with special needs. When not helping others in the special needs industry, Ilana loves to write. Her first book: A Tale of Two SOULS: My Hand of GOD Story is based off her blog (Married To a YID) and is her spiritual journey while being married to a very religious Orthodox Jewish man who was on a journey himself. Via her blog and then her book, Ilana combines stories, poems and laughter in a raw and honest view of this lifestyle. When not writing, Ilana can be found biking (not too far), hiking (not too far) or tap dancing. Ilana has four children (including twins) and a pet miniature dachshund, who together with her husband keep her laughing and writing. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or marriedtoayid.com.
