About the Author

In a little cozy place situated in the center of the universe, on the planet Earth, in the Caribbean, in Haiti, from the mountains and the trees a humble soul was born. Amos Pierre was born on August 12, 1983 in Port-au-Prince in a city named Rue Macajoux. First of a family of eight, life was anything but tranquil. He was born to a wonderful and strong mother named Alize Elveus Pierre, born on August 5, 1962. A dedicated and protective father named Holin Pierre, born on March 5, 1958.
At the age of two, an accident occurred but destiny spared his life. He fell into a concrete reservoir full of water about 10 feet deep. His aunt discovered him when she came over to visit his baby sister. His life was once again spared on February 20th 2004. The same year he would start another chapter of his life.
He traveled to the United States without his family. He had to learn many new things. One of the unforgettable lessons in his life was how it felt to be novice away from home, without loved ones. Courage, persistence, and dreams were the guidance to better days. He attended Miami Dade College, Medical Campus. He graduated in 2006 in the massage therapy program. In 2010 he obtained his practical nursing license, and in 2011 was awarded an Associate in Arts in pre-physical therapy from Miami Dade College.
Some will see him but will not know his journey. Some will judge as we all do. He is a book without a title that should not be judged by its cover. Once you start reading, you may want to read more. Just like an open book you will find the truth, knowledge, mistakes, happiness, and sadness. He is not a bible; he is universal. Anyone can understand him. Just like a book with no ending, you just have to keep reading.
