If only she could have found it so... Kayden's mission should have been simple - she was sent to kill the prince, not to fall in love with him!! Now she knows she is in trouble with the boss and with her heart! Her or the Prince?? I would have been sitting on the edge of my chair wanting to know how she was going to handle this life/death decision, so... Thanks to the author for a glimpse into the next book! Great series for young readers! And older... I'm enjoying it too! I received an arc in exchange for an honest review...

Once again, JC Morrows has gripped me with her words. The skill in which she pairs words together to create an alternate world is nothing short of amazing. The way she snares the reader from the opening page, increasing the tension with every turn of page, until you are forced to stop because you've reached the end, is maddening. Kayden has to decide if she will embrace the love of the Prince or continue her assignment for which she was sent. This kept me turning and I cannot wait for the next book in the series. *I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

JC Morrows is an amazing writer! I was drawn into this story immediately — Kayden lying on a hospital bed, with Dvarius sitting beside her, not knowing if she would recover. Oh, my goodness! I felt as if I were in the room with them — and I didn’t stop reading until the end. Actually, I was perched on the edge of my chair — unable to sit still, at least through the first few chapters. I was thrilled to learn that book two picks up where book one ended — with Kayden getting stabbed! I read somewhere that it isn’t good form to end a book on a cliffhanger, but I remember all my favorite television shows ending on a cliffhanger; good grief — some of them ended the season that way! Does anyone else remember watching Dallas, when JR was shot? I don’t mind a cliffhanger. For me, it adds thrill and intrigue to the story . . . and makes me eager to read the next book in the series. There are lots of secrets in books one and two that haven’t been revealed, but that just makes it more exciting to read. Will Kayden survive? Will she be the new Princess/Queen? Who else is in the castle, intent upon killing the Prince — or was Kayden the intended victim? I can’t say . . . I really can’t. JC Morrows is relatively new to the industry, yet she writes stories as if she’s been writing for a great, many years. Although most of us enjoy happy endings — and cliffhangers are difficult for some of us (especially those of us with no patience), at least we don’t have to wait a year or more for the next book to be released. A Reluctant Assassin was released on September 29, 2015, with a stunner of a cliffhanger! JC was kind enough to include the first chapter at the end of the book, so her fans wouldn’t freak out over what was happening with the lovely Kayden, our beautiful, but deadly assassin. A Treacherous Decision released on December 29, 2015 — just 3 months after book one. If you enjoy YA fantasy, suspense, intrigue, and romance — whatever you do, don’t miss this series! God Bless You!

A Treacherous Decision ( Order of The Moonstone- book 2 ) By: MC Morrows This is the second book of the Order of The Moonstone series. JC Morrows is a new author to me . I have read only one other books and it was the first in the series. Her stories are different from what I have been use to reading. I will say That I enjoyed A Treacherous Decision. It starts out a little slow , but also starts back up where A Reluctant Assassin ended, which I was proud of. I was drawn into the story right from the start, and was hooked. Morrows weaves her story and characters so that you cannot read fast enough to see what is going to happen next. In some places of the story I was holding my breath till I read more. I have to say that this book is my favorite in the series. Kayden has a secret she has not told Prince Dvarius about. She has been sent on a mission to do a certain job, can she carry her job out since she has gotten to know The Prince? This is one of those page turners when you get started you do not want to stop till the end. I was given a copy of this book by the author for my honest review.

This great sequel starts off exactly where A Reluctant Assassin ended so I was glad for that :) The start of the book is kind of slow because Kayden is recovering from an injury, but it was interesting to see that Prince Dvarius has many questions regarding her identity that I didn't think he would consider. Alfreid also shows up AKA Sir Malcolm and Kayden's uncle and he also has to figure out the status of Kayden's mission and how he should proceed. I'm very interested in knowing what he will decide. Lady Catarine is by far the greatest character to me. She goes from being a timid candidate to being Kayden's most loyal friend and companion. She also becomes spunky in the process and I wish I had a friend like her, just love her :) We learn more about the Queen in this book and that was also a joy in Kayden's journey. There are still many unknowns to discover with this story and I was very surprised by Kayden's response to something that happens. Everything about her heart has changed on this mission, but still not sure how she's going to handle what's next and looking forward to more of this story. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys a clean YA book with characters who are filled with heart. *I received an arc in exchange for an honest review*
