A Trip to Merida is book three in the Grace Trilogy, along with Day 183 and Flight 885. Agent Brandy Bane transfers from the FBI to the DEA, thereby resolving her personal issues with Agent Bob Foreman. Pete and Sarah Levindusky return from their honeymoon, and they, along with Sarah's father, Harold, are drawn into an international drug smuggling case that takes Harry to the Yucatan. The tricky part of the investigation is that a Secret Service Agent, Michele Bianchi, has been assigned to oversee an FBI investigation into corruption at the DEA at the same time that the two teams are working on the smuggling problem.
