A True Childhood Haunting by Diana R. Gomez

It took me years to decide how I was going to design my non-fiction horror book. Because I have so many ghost encounters I can discuss, in different scenarios and with different spectators (Yes, I do have witnesses!), I decided to break it up into short stories. I want my audience to be able to embrace each individual account to the fullest and at the end bring it all together. Stay tuned.

About the Author

Diana Gomez resides in New Jersey with her mother, son, daughter and the love of her life. Although childhood hauntings can easily traumatize a person, Diana has found herself to actually grow fond of horror anythings. Her current home is not yet attracting any ghostly encounters. However... beware! It can happen at any moment and at any place without any regard to who is standing next to her. Enjoy her stories and share the chills. UPDATE 2013- the apartment that was discussed earlier as not having any ghostly events, has now come up with an extra tale or two that will be added into Diana's coming book.

If I would have known that this was only 23 pages in length I would never have purchased it. I've bought other books for .99 that were over 300 pages long. Although the little tiny bit you were able to read was good, this should have been FREE!! It was a tease and a waste of a dollar. Barnes and Noble should really indicate how many pages it is in the description and then we can be the judge if we want to actually spend money on it. Very disappointing.

Very unhappy to have paid for what I thought would be a book, but is a very short story of 30 pages or so. Ghost does not even show up in story until the end, reader is left hanging and unsatisfied. Ending is abrupt.

As a person who as spirits all around myself, I thought there would be similar stories to mine. Psychic experiences happen all of the time. Diana goes off track from what book is about. She needs to keep to subject & give full disclosure of experiences each in its own chapter.

In reading this story I found myself compelled to turn to the next page to see what would happen next. The author has a style which is different than the ordinary on the shelf books today. It's refreshing to find people willing to take a risk and put themselves out there for all to see. Anxiously awaiting the sequel !
