I liked this novella, but it was kind of 'meh,' nothing special; it did, however, set the backdrop for the series for DarkRiver as a new pack moving in. That's not to say that Ria and Emmet are silent partners-- you meet them again in later books of the Psy-Changeling Series. In other words, if you want the backdrop, then this book is yours. But for me, the avid reader of the entire series, it was kind of ho-hum.

cute and entertaining. I enjoyed seeing what Dark River and Lucas was like before everything started with his book. a wonderful glimpse into the Psy-Changling world, and seeing how Ria and Emmett came together was a sweet story. loved her grandma

NUMBER OF HEARTS: 5 As always Ms. Singh writes a story that makes me fall in love with the Psy-Changeling series all over again. Whisper of Sin is a prequel to the series. This book happens before Lucas, before Clay, before Dorian, before Judd (who is my favorite), before Hawke and before Kaleb. It was nice to get back to the beginning for me. I have been obsessed with the series since book one. Emmett and Ria’s story is sweet, spicy and quick. It was a lot of fun to see how these two got together. It was great to see some of the other characters too before we know them so closely. If you are a fan of Ms. Singh’s series and you have not picked up this story you need too. If you are new to this series now is a perfect time to pick up a copy of Whisper of Sin and learn why I love this series so much. Disclaimer: I purchased this book and this review is my own opinion and not a paid review.

This story was previously published. I figured that out after I paid for it. It's a good story but I wish I hadn't spent 3$ on it....again.

He nods and his ears flick as he hears Darkmoon. "Last time i checked, you hated me, and you think I'm a jerk." He meows in her direction and says "Let's go back to camp." He trots out.
